SEOUL BLEISURE

I was in Seoul for a conference and stayed in Gangnam. The business facilities were top-notch, and I managed to fit in some sightseeing. Definitely check out Bukchon Hanok Village for a taste of old Seoul!

Had a few meetings in Seoul and found it incredibly easy to get around. The Wi-Fi everywhere made working remotely a breeze. After hours, I visited Namsan Tower – stunning city views, especially at night!

Came to Seoul for meetings and had a few hours to explore. The contrast between modern skyscrapers and ancient palaces like Gyeongbokgung is amazing. Efficient public transport and super friendly locals – perfect for mixing work and leisure!

Over the course of three days, I got to experience Seoul’s famous ‘chicken and beer,’ visit Gyeongbokgung, and explore various other places. The Guard Changing Ceremony at Gyeongbokgung was especially impressive and well-executed. The combination of business and sightseeing made for a truly special and satisfying experience.

A few of my colleagues and I got to wear matching hanboks, and it was such a blast! From picking out the outfits to strolling around the hanok village, everything was just beautiful. We even tried some traditional Korean liquor—I seriously wished I could’ve brought some back home to Nigeria! Huge thanks for making it such an unforgettable trip.

Thanks to the vehicle service and the guide’s consideration for a member of our group who had injured their leg, we were able to enjoy the trip comfortably. It was a pleasure to see such beautiful places like Bukchon Hanok Village still preserved. Overall, it was a very satisfying trip.

Visiting Seoul was an eye-opening experience for me. I was particularly impressed by the design and engineering of Seoul Sky—its sleek structure and integration into the cityscape were remarkable. But what really caught my attention was the advanced water management and sewage systems. The efficiency and sustainability of these systems are something every city should strive for. Seoul is not just about the beautiful skyscrapers; it’s a perfect blend of innovation and thoughtful urban planning. I’m leaving inspired and with a new perspective on city development.

It was my first time in Korea, and I’ve always been fascinated by those traditional hanok houses you see in historical dramas, so I had to check them out. Getting to wear a hanbok there felt like I was straight out of a K-drama! The special tour of Gyeonghoeru Pavilion was absolutely stunning. I’m definitely coming back next time with my family!

I wanted to deeply explore Seoul’s history and culture, so I requested a professional guide at the docent level. Thanks to the detailed explanations throughout the trip, it was a truly satisfying experience. The view from the Seoul observatory was especially impressive, where the sweeping cityscape combined with the history of Seoul—it was fascinating to see!

Prices in Korea are more affordable than in Turkey, so I did a lot of shopping. I bought cosmetics from Olive Young to share with my friends, and the quality was amazing. It was such an enjoyable trip
