The name "Knock Knock" carries a dual meaning: it reflects the Korean concept of generosity or abundance, while also echoing the sound of “knock knock.” This wordplay symbolizes an invitation for foreigners to approach and experience Korean cuisine in a more friendly and accessible way.

The K-FOOD Festival offers an opportunity to experience a wide variety of Korean cuisine in one place, including traditional dishes, modern fusion foods, street food, and uniquely Korean traditional drinks. A total of 15 food trucks present creative Korean dishes that blend the familiar with the novel, such as Kimchi Bacon Cheese Pancakes, Walnut Cream Cheese Wrapped Persimmons, and Kimchi Salsa Tacos.

The K-FOOD Festival "Knock Knock" has broken the stereotype that food festivals tend to overcharge. True to its name, "Knock Knock" emphasizes generosity: each food truck displays a sign with clear information on menu items, prices, portion sizes, and ingredient origins. During the actual food service, portions are weighed to ensure ample servings.

Another noteworthy aspect is that all food is served in reusable containers, not disposables. Next to the event area, there’s a return zone where visitors can dispose of used containers properly, facilitating recycling and cleanup.

Each food truck has its own ordering kiosk, but visitors can also place orders for multiple food trucks at once by visiting the main information center. To ensure smooth service for the high volume of visitors, cash payments are not accepted; however, a variety of payment options are available, including domestic and international card payments and easy payment services.

At the K-FOOD Festival "Knock Knock" various special experience programs allow visitors to immerse themselves in traditional Korean culture. On weekends and holidays (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), the festival offers not only fusion Korean cuisine but also live stage performances, a pop-up store featuring handcrafted items showcasing Korean aesthetics, and interactive events for the public. This creates a fresh and engaging experience for both local and international visitors.

The "Knock Knock" Festival is held at Sejongno Park, next to the popular Gwanghwamun Square, making it highly accessible. Parking facilities are available, ensuring convenience for visitors using both public transportation and private vehicles.
